– in the presence of penile anatomical deformity,
– in subjects taking alpha-flucosides,
– sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma or leukaemia.

Interaction of grapefruit and its juice with erectile dysfunction medicines may increase the blood levels of vardenafil, which may be more likely to cause worsening of side effects. Grapefruit may also affect the body’s metabolism of vardenafil, making it harder for the body to excrete the active ingredient from the system.
